Although we only want to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout the Dwarm UK web site. External links are e.g. clickable text, banner or image links to other web sites. The owner of the Dwarm UK web site cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked web site over which they have no editorial or technical control. Users should therefore note that they click on external links at their own risk and the Dwarm UK web site and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links featured.
This policy describes how we choose the links we feature on the Dwarm UK web site. We include links that we feel are relevant to visitors to our site. We do this for various reasons, which include:
We only link to third party web sites which meet our own editorial guidelines and comply with our operating policies, at the time we link to them.
The majority of links we include are 'public' and free to access. Visitors may be asked, by the external web site, to create a user account (register) or 'subscribe' in order to access further material and content when they follow a link. In these cases we will endeavour to make this clear where the link is featured.
We neither seek nor accept requests or solicitations from third party web site operators, or others, to have their site linked to from ours.
When we include a link on the Dwarm UK web site, prior to publishing, we will review both the content linked to and web site which contains the link. We cannot, however, be held liable or responsible for the content of any third party web site over which we have no technical or editorial control. This is because we do not produce, maintain or update content for such web sites and, therefore, we cannot edit, add or remove content from them. Additionally, the content can be changed by the web site owner without them having to inform us or seek our agreement first.
Where we include third party web site links this does not mean that we endorse the web site, the views expressed there or those of the web site's owner, operator or users. Where such links lead to commercial services, which may feature subscriptions or online purchases, this shall not be taken that we endorse or recommend such products or services.
We may include links to content which has been generated by individual members of the public; Blogs, social media sites (such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), messageboards (such as Reddit), photo sharing or special interest web sites etc. In such cases the views stated in the content are not, unless we specifically say so, the views of either the owners or operators of the Dwarm UK web site.
Whilst responsibility for such content belongs with whoever operates or edits the web site on which material is first published, if you have concerns over any publicly generated content which we have linked to on the Dwarm UK web site then please do let us know. We will be more than happy to review any material if you include details of where the material appeared and when. If we find that the material does not conform to our editorial guidelines then we will remove our links (and any relevant references to it) as soon as possible. Our decision on such matters is final and not open to appeal.
Although our editorial guidelines are not published publicly they mandate that whatever we publish publicly (that is, without requiring a subscription or pre-registration to access the content) will be suitable for the general public, including children.
It will also be made very clear if material we have linked to is not suitable for what would be considered as 'the general public'. This includes specific content warnings on the Dwarm UK page which contains the link where we know that the content is not for general consumption or for a specialised audience.
